If you’ve been following my blog you know that I love a good pair of jeans. In fact, I have love for all denim, from tops, skirts and my go to jeans. Jeans are just my default, perfect companion to any top and for almost every occasion. They just work! It’s that simple. And when I hear about people who don’t wear jeans because they can’t find the right pair, it blows my mind. Because trust this gal right here, there’s a perfect pair for everybody. For this post I teamed up with my friends at Target to dig into the minds of my friends and figure out what are their denim challenges are and give them a bit of advice on how to nail their denim match made in heaven. I heard things like, I don’t like too much crotch exposure, or some finishes make my thighs look too big or boyfriend jeans intimidate me or I wish I could wear white denim in the fall.

My friends came to the right place because as a denim lover I have solutions for all of these issues:

Concealing ThatArea: I’ve been there, you find the perfect skinny jeans, but don’t want expose too much of your crotch area. My perfect solution is wearing a top that covers it a bit, like the one I’m wearing in this post. It works! So don’t give up on your favorite pair of skinny jeans.

The Right Denim Finish: If you feel like light washed make your thighs bigger than you would want them to look then opt for a dark or black wash. These washes will give your thighs a slimmed down illusion, which you’ll love. Definitely stay away from dark washes that have fading around the thighs.

Picking The Right Boyfriend: Don’t overthink it! Boyfriend jeans are the perfect pair to run in errands on the weekend. They’re comfortable and still look chic. Personally, I take it a step further and throw on heels, which immediately turn my look around. Take a chance on that BF pair, you won’t be disappointed.

White Jeans After Labor Day: Oh yes you can! Toss the rules when it comes to fashion because white jeans are completely acceptable post summer and even in the winter.

One of my favorite denim styles is a good skinny pair of jeans, preferably if they’re ankle length so that my shoes are always on display. I also love a distressed wash because they have that worn look that’s ever so stylish. For this post I went with this fab pair from Mossimo that exceeded all of my expectations, especially in terms of fit. You should always feel comfortable in your jeans, never compromise that.
